Bosnia and Herzegovina is located in the sout-eastern part of Europe, in the western part of the Balkan Peninsula, bordered by Republic Croatia from the north and north-west and south,
and the Republic of Serbia to the east, and Montenegro to the southeast. The total area is 51 129 square kilometres and has a population of approximately 465 thousand inhabitants, and its currency is the Bosnian mark and (equivalent to half euro). The climate is continental mild with warm summers with an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. 75% of the population are Muslims and 25% are Christians. Bosnia and Herzegovina is known for its magnificent rivers and these rivers are suitable for fishing, river cruises, rafting and other water sports. And there are mountains which provide great potential for mountain climbing and cycling.
